With seven players from five different countries, you might expect the K-State Women's Tennis team to face challenges in finding a common bond and coming together as a team.

Nothing could further from the truth. The players all agree, this team has formed a special bond that is truly reflective of being a K-Stater - a member of the Wildcat family.

Life as a K-State Wildcat is all about being part of the team. Whether you’re on or off the court, being a Wildcat means being part of a sisterhood of teammates and striving to perform at your best.

On the court, the tennis team pushes each other towards excellence and encourages each other through the last shot of every tournament - embracing the concepts of team.

Off the court, the team is a close-knit unit, a relationship that has overcome language and cultural differences. Away from tennis, the team spends a lot of time together, whether it be going to football games or catching a movie, relaxing at home, or just hanging out or grabbing a bite to eat.

Perhaps no team at Kansas State is more reflective of the special nature of K-State and Manhattan, where players from all kinds of backgrounds are welcomed with open arms and accepted as part of the Wildcat family.
