Life as a K-State Wildcat is all about family. On and off the course, being a Wildcat means sharing a special bond with teammates and fans. Perhaps nowhere is this more evident than with K-State Women's Golf.
Friends on and off the course, the women's golf team is a close knit group that supports each other, encourages each other and drives each other to become better during competition.
“It is fun to watch these young ladies develop not only as players
but people,” Coach Kristi Knight said. “This is an important time in their lives.
When they arrive, many of them are unsure what they want to do
or what they think they can do. I want to make sure they know
they can accomplish anything they put their heart and mind to. Of course, you see their golf develop and see them experience success,
but you also see them develop as a person.”
Away from golf, the team spends a lot of time together, whether it be going to football games or catching a movie, or just hanging out or grabbing a bite to eat. Being a Wildcat means having a new set of sisters, a new part of the family.
